Chart notes
KBCYA LATER settled nicely off of the early pace while never far back, loomed four wide nearing the quarter marker, took command into upper stretch then responded well in the drive, kicked clear into the final sixteenth and was ridden out late. GENTLE BREEZE broke alertly, ceded the early lead then stalked the pace two wide and between foes heading into the turn, pressed the pace to the quarter marker then vied for the lead to upper stretch, was outkicked by the winner in the late stages and bested the rest for the place honors. GENGHIS settled off of the early pace then advanced outside of rivals along the backstretch, chased three wide to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, could not muster the needed response late but stayed on and won the nod for third at the wire. GANGLY settled in the second flight and between rivals early on, chased two wide and between foes into the turn, angled to the rail to upper stretch, lacked the needed final response and just missed for third. INTER MIAMI broke in good order then took back to track the early pace, stalked three wide to the turn and was well placed nearing the quarter pole, got outkicked to upper stretch then weakened in the drive. MOGALU allowed to settle early, roused four then five wide to upper stretch, finished evenly in the drive but passed tiring rivals late to improve position. CANTARO settled while saving ground in the early stages, lost position into the turn, angled out along the bend, swung four wide to upper stretch and did not rally late. TACTICAL HUMOR hustled leaving the start, assumed early command and set the pace to the turn, was pressed to the quarter marker and met oncoming bids to upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded in the drive. LIVING WATER tracked the early pace from the second flight, saved ground into the turn and chased the leaders nearing the quarter pole, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and gave way. THIRSTY PAPPY broke slowly and spotted the field to begin, lagged to the turn and was not a factor in the stretch.
