Chart notes

BUCK WILD was sent for the early lead, assumed command and showed the way along the backstretch run, was well handled while setting moderate fractions to the quarter pole, kept to task under steady urging into the stretch and held sway to the wire. TALLAHATCHIEBRIDGE settled off of the early pace then tracked outside of rivals approaching the turn, was well placed nearing the quarter marker and was roused three then four wide into the stretch, made a mild late bid but could not impact the winner late and was a clear second best. LIEUTENANT STAN ceded the early lead, tracked the pace two wide along the backstretch run, chased BUCK WILD into the turn, swung three wide to upper stretch and ran in pursuit to the furlong grounds, weakened in the final sixteenth and held safely for third. I KNOW MAP settled off of the moderate early pace, coaxed two wide to upper stretch and advanced between foes at the furlong pole, could not sustain that run to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. TRIVISTA was unhurried in the early stages, trailed to the quarter marker, swung out for the stretch drive and did not offer the needed late response. MISCHIEF WARRIOR was forwardly placed away from the start, tracked the early pace while saving ground along the backstretch run, chased from the inside into the turn, was outkicked to upper stretch then gave way in the final furlong.
