Chart notes
WILD CAPTAIN rated just off of the early leaders and tracked to the backstretch, was well placed to the half-mile pole, saved ground into the far turn then bid at the quarter pole, drifted off of the rail to upper stretch and took command into the drive, kept to task into the final sixteenth and drew clear late. LETSGETLUCKYTONITE broke alertly and assumed early command, set a prompted pace to the backstretch, dueled HOME INVASION into the far turn then was confronted by WILD CAPTAIN nearing the quarter pole, lost the lead to WILD CAPTAIN then got carried out to the three path into upper stretch, fought on to the final sixteenth, could not keep pace with the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. DONNELLY'S HOLLOW allowed to settle in the early stages, was unhurried to the backstretch, saved ground into the far turn then was asked for run to upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong, was outfinished by the top pair in deep stretch but was clear in the end for third. HOME INVASION was prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace while three deep then prompted the pace into the backstretch, dueled LETSGETLUCKYTONITE into the far turn, got floated four wide to upper stretch, was outkicked at the furlong grounds then tired in the late stages. RIVERBOAT BANDIT unhurried in the early stages, raced outside of an inner rival into the backstretch, trailed into the far turn and did not factor in the stretch drive.
