KAZ MUSIC allowed to settle in the early stages, saved ground to the turn then was roused at the three-eighths marker, loomed approaching the quarter pole, tipped out and vied for the lead to upper stretch, took command at the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. COMBAT HOOFS rated off of the early pace and tracked outside of rivals along the backstretch run, chased four wide into the turn, was outkicked to upper stretch but fought on into the lane, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. DAKOTA SPRINGS hustled leaving the start, assumed early command and set the pace along the backstretch, showed the way into the turn then came under pressure nearing the quarter marker, was overtaken into upper stretch, yielded to the top pair approaching the final sixteenth and was well clear in the end for third. BELLA PRIMA tracked the early pace from between rivals, chased into the turn then got shuffled back midway through the bend, could not find the needed response into upper stretch and was not persevered with late. STYLE TO FOLLOW prominent in the early stages, chased the pace from the inside along the backstretch, lost position while between rivals into the turn, stopped in upper stretch, was pulled up at the furlong pole and walked off.
