Chart notes
PERFECT ANGEL crowded at the start, rushed up outside of rivals in the early stages, vied four then three wide into the turn and showed the way to the quarter pole while off of the rail, kicked clear into upper stretch, drew off through the lane and was ridden out late to win as much the best. MY KINDA PARTY veered in at the start and crowded inner rival, pressed the early pace from between foes, chased PERFECT ANGEL from the inside into the turn, shifted to the two path to upper stretch, was no match late for the winner and just held for the place at the wire. SUNNY LION squeezed a bit at the start and off a step slowly, pressed the early pace from between rivals, took back into the turn, chased to the quarter pole then was in tight nearing the top of the lane, swung widest to upper stretch, fought on to the final sixteenth and just missed for place. LESOTHO disputed the early pace from the inside then took back approaching the turn, chased from the inside then was boxed in heading to the quarter pole, found room and kept an inside path to the stretch, needed more in the late stages and was outkicked for the minor awards. LIL SHARPIE settled in the early stages and trailed to the turn, coaxed from the three path heading to the quarter pole, swung to the four path to upper stretch, angled widest in the final sixteenth and needed more late. DUNN'S RIVER rated just off of the early pace and tracked three wide to the turn, chased to the quarter pole, was outkicked to mid-stretch then weakened in the final sixteenth.
