Chart notes
ACHROMEDOUTCAT took command from the start, battled back when confronted with challengers at the three-furlong mark, dueled gamely with CLEAR AS A BELLE through the length of the stretch, and shared the top prize. CLEAR AS A BELE had to be hard ridden early, moved up to join the pace at the three-furlong pole, dueled relentlessly with ACHROMEDOUTCAT from that point to the finish, and could not separate the noses at the wire. STRONG PROMISE was close up early, hugging the inner rail, was under a drive to keep pace midway through the turn, came out four-wide into the stretch, was never getting to the top two, but finished clear of the rest to claim the third prize. F T W SLAM dropped back after a level start, advanced three-wide through the turn, and was kept to task while not making up any ground late. CARPIS rushed up to the leaders after passing the half, backed out at the quarter pole, and tired in the stretch. TRIPPLE D RULLER raced in mid-pack to the stretch, then lacked a finish. TDZ HINT OF POWER broke well and was up with the pack to the turn, took up out of a tight spot going into the turn, then appeared to lose interest.
