Chart notes
ARTEMIS SPARKLES dueled outside of GO GIRL GO from the start, continued the battle through the stretch, struggled to get the upper hand, then edged ahead in the final jumps. GO GIRL GO bore in badly at the start, was still away quickly and dueled inside of ARTEMIS SPARKLES, dug in gamely through the stretch, had a slight advantage in deep stretch, but was headed just before the wire. MADORIA ducked in towards the inner rail at the start and was off slowly, settled mid-pack early, and finished willingly to gain third. DRAGON NAVY tracked the pace four-wide to the turn, moved up in range of the leaders approaching the quarter pole, then flattened out in the stretch. KINGSTON LADY lost the path and took up after the start to avoid GO GIRL GO, was outpaced from the start, kept to the inside, and finished with some interest. SWEET KANTHA was hard to load, broke well, raced close up until mid-stretch, began to race erratically, and flattened out. DR. RED got impeded at the start, dropped far behind, and showed little.
