Chart notes
DIAMOND DUST took control from the gate, set a well rated pace, responded well when called upon turning for home to deny all challengers in a determined, game drive. HEAVY POUR stalked the pacesetter down the backside, commenced a steady bid midway on the turn and edged closer through the lane while unable to collar the winner in a good effort. CERTAIN reserved at the rear of the compact field to the quarter pole, angled four wide turning for home and closed willingly but was unable to pass the top pair. SHADOW FACTOR prompted the pace from between rivals in the chasing trio just off the pacesetter, separated with a brief bid at the quarter pole and failed to sustain the rally in the lane. SAINT GOAR tracked the leader from four wide to the quarter pole, lacked a response when called upon turning for home while drifting out and upon examination after the race it was determined he had bled.
