Chart notes
OUT IN THE COLD pressed the pace to midway on the turn, rallied to challenge at the quarter pole, assumed command at the eighth pole and pulled away in the final sixteenth. AU COURANT rated in mid-pack for a half, swung out five wide for the drive and rallied to gain the place. HONORANDAPRAYER stalked the pace to the top of the lane, rallied four wide to loom midway down the lane and hung late unable to gain in the final stages. POPCORN N PEACHES reserved off the pace to be at the rear of the main body of the field and put in a mild show of interest from seven wide down the lane. TINKER BULL set the pace under pressure to the top of the lane, dug-in for the drive and gave way in the final stages. VOODOO broke awkwardly to never be involved and raced as though the saddle may have slipped.
