Chart notes
HALON prompted the pace to the far turn, cruised up to the pacesetter while still in hand on the bend to take the lead nearing the quarter pole and drew off in the lane unthreatened. PROTOTYPE set the pace on a well rated lead for five-eighths, had no answer when challenged by the winner on the turn while under early urging and ran-on willingly to be second best. D'ORO LEMON slow early to be the trailer, remained at the back to the head of the stretch while circling the field and rallied with some late interest to be along for the show. THIRTEEN G'S stalked the pace in striking distance to be well placed at the quarter pole and lacked a closing kick finishing evenly. IRISH STONE went evenly failing to menace. SIXTEEN CIGARETTES was not a threat.
