Chart notes
JUDGE HERNANDEZ broke inwards at the start and was off a step slowly, settled along the backstretch then loomed three to four wide nearing the quarter pole, took command and kicked clear to upper stretch, drifted out under firm left handed urging at the furlong pole, straightened and kept to task to the final sixteenth then held sway to the wire. GREATDAYFORHOCKEY hopped at the start and was last away from the gate, settled while saving ground then was caught in traffic leaving the three-eighths pole, continued to navigate traffic at the quarter marker and swung widest to upper stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, couldn't reel in the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. STAY FROSTY broke alertly and took early command, set the pace while off of the rail heading into the turn, overtaken by JUDGE HERNANDEZ leaving the quarter pole, chased that foe into the lane, couldn't muster a final response and was outkicked for the place, while holding for the show. FLY COMMANDER away in good order, rated in the second flight, tracked the pace two to three wide and between rivals along the turn, chased three wide to upper stretch and mildly re-rallied into the lane, needed more to the final sixteenth and was outfinished for the show. PAYNTER CITY close up to the early pace, tracked from the inside heading to the turn, chased from the rail to upper stretch, lacked the needed response to the final sixteenth and weakened late.
