Chart notes
PLAYING FIELD was crowded in the early stages, settled three wide in midpack while under some coaxing to keep pace, responded when asked near the three-furlong pole, had the leaders in range at the head of the stretch, gradually closed the gap and pulled away late. SILVERADO STORM showed good speed from the outset, had one rival in close pursuit early, opened clear late on the turn and had a comfortable advantage entering the stretch, but shortened stride in the final yards and surrendered the lead. B D R BAXTER bbroke best, ceded the front to SILVERADO STORM while remaining in a stalking position down the backstretch, let that one get clear late on the turn, then chased under a drive but was unable to close the gap. BARON'S SONG raced between foes with the tracking group, moved into contention midway through the turn, came under a stiff drive passing the quarter pole and finished willingly, but was unable to make further headway late. HUNTER QUICK took up early, raced very wide into the turn, came four to five wide into the stretch and gained mildly late. RAPID EXPANSION was last away then advanced under a ride to improve slightly. MONTANA lacked any early interest, commenced a five to six wide rally through the turn and made up some ground. PADDYS FOUR ROSES raced somewhat erratically while being hustled away from the break, settled four wide in midpack and faltered through the stretch. MISCHIEVOUSHOLIDAY was outpaced early, dropped to the back of the field, and failed to menace. HONOR THE CAT tracked close up in third, came under a ride on the turn, then weakened abruptly and stopped in the stretch. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
