Chart notes
ENCINO vied for the early lead while racing wide into the first turn, took control down the backside nearing the half mile pole to set a well measured pace, responded when called upon turning for home, repelled the bid of the runner-up midway down the lane and went clear late in a determined drive. BRITAIN'S KITTEN was well placed tucked in just behind the leaders to the far turn, rallied on the bend tipping out to challenge the winner, threatened in mid-stretch, failed to get passed and finished willingly in a good effort to be clearly second best. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA was slow early to be the trailer and rallied with a mild bid in the lane to be along for the show. WOODCOURT dueled on the early lead through the first turn, settled two wide to press the winner to the far turn and failed to respond when clalled upon on the far turn to fade from contention. FIRST STRIKE was reserved off the pace for the first half mile, gained position on the fur turn under an early drive and flattened out. TOUCH OF DESTINY (URU) chased the leaders for a half and came up empty.
