LARKSONG controlled the pace from the outset, was confidently ridden throughout and had plenty left in the stretch to hold off a mild bid from the runner-up. SWEET MAGNOLIA valiantly chased the eventual winner all the way around the course and was still trying in the late stages. HALCYON DAYS trailed far back throughout and was never a factor.
