Chart notes
GRAB THE SPARK stalked the pacesetter to the far turn, closed the gap rallying on the bend to engage the leader turning for home, wore that one down midway through the stretch and pulled away in the late going. TROPHY HUSBAND set the pace on a clear lead for five-eighths, vied with the winner from the quartet pole to midway down the lane, could not match that one late in the lane and ran-on to hold the place. NOBLE HERO tracked the leaders from mid-field down the backside, put in a mild bid nearing the quarter pole and finished evenly. DOUBLE UP LARRY was well placed slotted just off the eventual winner and failed to mount a closing kick when called upon. MR. IMPATIENT raced in the trailing trio form between horses to the far turn and showed some interest defeating those rivals without impacting the top slots. SNOWSTORM was one-paced failing to threaten. GLEAMING dropped back in the lane tiring having been no factor.
