Chart notes
SANDY GIRL was sent aggressively from the break and vied for the early lead, got clear just past the three-furlong pole, then opened up at the top of the stretch, and held sway under intermittent right-handed urging to the finish. SONG TO REMEMBER was coaxed along from the start and vied inside for the early lead, conceded the front midway through the turn, kept on well late but could not close the gap on the winner. DECREE AND DECLARE broke well and vied three wide for the early advantage, came under pressure approaching the stretch, then flattened out through the late stages. RAVEN DANCE was always behind and never threatened.
