Chart notes
PLEASANT FANTASY raced closest to the pacesetter in hand, continued to chase the middle seven furlongs, challenged approaching jump eight, dueled through the early part of the fourth and final turn, clear into the lane, coasted home to win ridden out. L'AVVOCATO (FR) unhurried much of the way, asked along into the final straight, began to advance entering the crossover, finished willingly to be up for the second spot, no match for the winner. RENFRO'S RECEPTION took control at the start, set the pace while racing up front, responded when the winner came alongside midway up the backstretch the second time, raced on equal terms with that one through the final turn, continued to run on while between horses into and through the gap, weakened slightly but salvaged the third spot in the late goind. BRIGHT EYED EAGLE (IRE) void of any early speed, continued back into the stretch for the final time, showed some mild, belated interest to improve a bit in the waning strides. VINTAGE YEAR settled off the pace, raced along the inside through the stretch gap, weakened in the late going while closest to the inside. SHAMSAT (FR) in mid pack early, improved slightly late on the backstretch the final time, midpack into the lane, in some traffic at the gap and stopped.
