Chart notes
RED TONE showed the way early in hand, relinquished the advantage into the second turn, chased the leader the next eight furlongs and began to weaken. CAMANOE prompted the leader early, took over at jump four, showed the way in hand, responded with the top two came calling entering the stretch, yielded from between that pair late to finish up clear of the others. MADAKET'S ARROW raced one paced behind the leaders throughout, asked along for the drive, lacked a closing punch. GOLD CHARM (IRE) unhurried most of the way, moved closer in the final turn while between horses, closest to the inside through the crossover gap, late duel, just missed gaining the nod at the wire. TIMETOSHINE (FR) settled off the pace well out in the course, encouraged a bit to move closer in the fourth bend, one the outside of the first flight through the gap in midstretch, dueled late, won the head bob at the wire. LOVE FOREVERAFTER lacked speed while racing outside, continued back through the final turn and into the stretch, also lacked a closing response when it counted in the drive.
