Chart notes
BACALAR had good speed and dueled outside a rival for a half mile, responded to edge away into the stretch then dug in determinedly to hold. HERE'S THE THING stalked the leaders, was asked for more three wide leaving the quarter pole and closed steadily but too late. TENACIOUS CANDY dueled inside the winner for four furlongs then got outkicked to the stretch and finished evenly. STANDFORGRIT had no speed, raced three wide and could not offer the needed late response. ROSES R BLUE lagged far back to the quarter pole then closed a gap without being a threat. HEY WILMAAA tracked the pace for three furlongs then weakened. BLURSDAY chased the pace for three furlongs then gave way.
