Chart notes
PICCATA PRINCE was brushed entering the opening turn then took back, settled in striking range while three to four wide, swept the lead in the last turn, and drew away. DERZKII lagged early while four wide, hurried five wide leaving the last turn, and rallied steadily to earn place honours. CONCRETE COWBOY angled in leaving the opening turn, bumping into FROSTEDBIRD, pressed the pace while four wide, was steadied on the last turn and was run down for second place. FROSTEDBIRD lost the path in the opening turn, then lost ground, chased wide in the final turn and closed late. COUSIN RICHIE was five wide into the opening turn, went wide in the final turn and offered a late mild bid. ANDALEIGH found running room inside entering the backstretch, pressed the early pace from along the rail, steadied in traffic while approaching the stretch, and was flat through the stretch. LEGAL ASSASSIN brushed the gate leaving, drifted out leaving the first turn, brushing FROSTEDBIRD, attended the pace while three wide, checked in traffic and chased to no avail. BARBERRY BANDIT vied inside, was bumped leaving the first turn, contended the lead between foes, was squeezed out in the final turn and retreated. JOCKEY OBJECTIONS- Objections were lodged by the riders of LEGAL ASSASSIN, ANDALEIGH, and CONCRETE COWBOY against the rider of PICCATA PRINCE alleging interference in the final turn. After review by the Board of Stewards, the objections were disallowed.
