Chart notes

LOHAN quickly took the lead, set the pace from off the rail facing inside pressure, edged away from that one but had outside foes shadowing heading into the turn, was kept busy in the lane and just held. AUNTIE'S BAMBINO settled off the pace inside, switched outside a rival entering the turn, was asked near the quarter pole, kept on in the lane and rallied between foes but just missed. HAPPY TO BE HERE moved forward up the backstretch heading to the turn, was within striking distance shadowing the winner three wide on that bend, continued in contention through the stretch but lacked the needed late kick. CHASING MEMORIES dropped back to trail outside a rival, was asked for run three to four wide midway on the turn, never got near enough to threaten. STORMOVER THE NILE stalked from outside going four wide on the turn, came in a bit in upper stretch while dropping back, faded. FIGHTIN TO SURVIVE pressed from inside, dropped back a bit leaving the backstretch and steadied entering the turn near the three-eigthhs, failed to rally. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
