Chart notes
MOJICA bobbled at the start, then dueled outside of AR YA WEEGE, gained the advantage just past the three-furlong pole, got clear in the stretch, and held firm despite wandering a bit through the lane. HOLY HANK was off a step slow, shifted to the outside, tracked the dueling leaders, made a good late try to get to the eventual winner, but was second best. MARKING CANYON had to steady near the gap, made a five-wide bid into the stretch, and moved up to gain the minor award. ANTONIOS MARK tracked the pace along the rail, was stuck behind horses through the turn, got a clear path into the stretch, but was unable to quicken. AR YA WEEGEE dueled to the inside of MOJICA from the outset, gave way to that one at the five-sixteenths marker, then was outkicked through the stretch. DELBERT TOO was unhurried at the back, dropped far behind, and chased throughout.
